She has been named as one of the frontrunners to replace Laura Whitmore as the host of Love Island.
And Maya Jama looked in good spirits as she grabbed a bite to eat with friends at a restaurant in New York City on Thursday. The TV presenter, 28, cut a trendy figure for the outing as she donned a multi-coloured patterned midi dress with a scooped neckline.
The star kept it casual for the day as she also sported a pair of cream sandals and added to her look with a gold necklace. Wearing her locks in a poker straight style, Maya complimented her outfit with a pair of orange-tinted sunglasses.
The outing comes after Maya and Vick Hope were named as the two front runners to take over Laura Whitmore’s Love Island presenting job. According to The Sun, Maya and TV and radio star Vick, 32, are reportedly being considered first by ITV bosses for the role to bring a ‘cooler edge’ to the show.
Irish TV star Laura revealed her shock decision to quit her job after three years on Monday – blaming, in part, the format of the show for her career choice. A TV source told the publication of Maya and Vick: ‘They’re viewed as two glamorous, fun figures who would also bring a slightly cooler edge to the format.
