The Time of Contempt, the book that follows the blood elves and sees the involvement of other new characters in The Witcher Season 2 will reconnect Geralt in the series on a more intimate level by using elements from the book as a basis to bring back and conduct wild hunting missions with Ciri. The blood elves become Ciri’s mentors and teachers during their time in Kaer Morhen, and the book will continue the story she tried to bring to Arutuza, where she continues her teaching and application of magic.

Netflix has released a little tease for Season 2 of The Witcher, and it gives us a hint that it will take one of the best stories of the book series.
